THE COTTAGES

We have 3 cottages available for short term let or holiday bookings. Each of the cottages is located in the Cheshire Countryside and each is fully refurbished and available on a fully furnished basis. Our first cottage is at Dutton Locks and is a former lock keeper’s cottage, it is located alongside the River Weaver in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. It is situated on Dutton Locks, accessible over a tarmac bridleway, on a private island with 3-other cottages. It really is a beautiful place for a relaxing break, with all the amenities you would expect plus some other bonus ones like a wood fired hot tub.

2 BEDROOM COTTAGE @ DUTTON LOCKS

The Lock Keepers Cottage offers a private relaxing stay for up to 4-guests. There is a separate shepherd’s hut in the gardens, with the opportunity to combine the two properties to accommodate up to 6-guests. The surrounding area affords plenty of opportunity to explore the countryside or if you’re looking for a little excitement why not try your hand at kayaking, one of many local sports facilities available!

ACTON BRIDGE COTTAGE

The 2 bedroom cottage dates back to c 1880 and was fully refurbished in early 2021 working closely with our interior designer. The gardens have been professionally designed and landscaped by local company Ability Garden.

Located on the south banks of the River Weaver, Acton Bridge is a delightful village well served by the gastro pub restaurant, The Hazel Pear which is only a short walk from the property.

Acton Bridge has its own main line railway station enabling easy access by public transport. The cottage is located in the heart of this quiet village, which is easily accessible from both the A49 and M56 motorway. The cottage is popular with walkers or those seeking high quality accommodation in a fantastic village location, within easy reach of Delamere Forest.

2 BEDROOM COTTAGE @ OAKMERE

The cottage has been fully refurbished during Spring/Summer 2022 and is set in it’s own large landscaped gardens.
You overlook the lake and have a very large garden as well as two outside terraces, both with outdoor furniture.
Inside there is a brand new kitchen, with a large kitchen island, a large lounge, a cosy snug with a wood burning stove, a brand new shower room and a downstairs WC.

The cottage is located in a very accessible and desirable part of Cheshire, 5 mins from Delamere Forest and just off the Whitegate Way.
